Find a Job

We can help you find a job, seasonal employment or help you become self employed. Once you are employed we can provide support or financial assistance. You can find current vacancies using our online Job Bank.

Get Assistance

Our assistance for individuals includes our main benefits - sickness, unemployment and superannuation. We provide extra help with accommodation, child care, and disability related costs or to meet special, unusual, emergency, or immediate needs. We also provide the Community Services Card, International Services, War and Veterans Pensions and Youth Transition Services. – View the Rates Information

Employers and Industry

We offer services to employers and industry. Lodge a vacancy through our Employer Line. You can also read about financial support options, and our training and work experience programmes.

Support for Communities

Enterprising Communities, Taskforce Green and the Activity in the Community programme help community organisations with projects that create skills and opportunities, or benefit the environment and/or community. OSCAR funding supports out of school care for 5-13 year olds (or up to 18 if they receive a Child Disability Allowance). Support and funding for communities is also available from Family and Community Services.
